Everything is going well for Sky, now she has her own tattoo shop away from her over protective brothers and friend Blue. Then along comes boxer, Sawyer. Sawyer's been told that one more blow to the head could leave him with permanent brain damage, but he has to win one last fight to provide his father with the the support he needs in his life. Not one to support violence, Sky has a problem with the idea of Sawyer fighting, but if she can get past it then she could find something amazing...

When I picked up Seaside Nights I found myself shocked by just how long its been since I read a Seaside Summers (part of Love in Bloom) book! Its so easy to fall back into the world of the characters, especially when so much had happened since the last book! It really does feel like going back to friends! (Plus who wouldn't want to go Chunky Dunking!)

There was definitely chemistry between Sawyer and Sky and I liked how the two of them did things at their own pace, there was no sticking with 'dating' rules, nor was there peer pressure to adhere to. I think that made this feel like a maturer romance, even though the characters weren't that old.

I absolutely love the way that Foster portrays female relationships. A lot of authors gloss over them or have one close female friend, but Foster has a group, and that group does all the little things that groups of female friends do, from picking out clothes to gossiping about dates and teasing each other. I really buy into it.

I also really like the way that characters from previous books play a big role in Seaside Nights, and it is clear that there are future characters in the books too. I love how intertwined they all are!

Fall in love with Sky Lacroux and Sawyer Bass in Seaside Nights, the fifth book in the Seaside Summers series!
Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed and preparing the shop for its grand opening. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.
Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar to escape the painful reality of his father’s failing health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the door—and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.
When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.
