Despite breaking up because of their careers, Vanessa Pryce and Justin Sterling can't get enough of eacah other. Ten years worth of secret holidays and secret evenings in hotels can't mean nothing. When Vanessa seeks Justin's comfort over her parents' divorce, their lives will change. With a baby on the way, Justin sees a way to get what he has always wanted; Vanessa, but she is wary of all that marriage implies and can't help but worry that he will leave her.

Vanessa was definitely a strong female character, and she's come across as that from her first introduction in the series. A successful lawyer, she's forged a career without using her family's influence, she lives the life that she wants to live. But there was definitely another softer side to her, one that wanted to be cared for and loved even if she wouldn't admit it. I liked both sides of her, it made her more human as a character.

The relationship between Justin and Vanessa was interesting. There was a lot of history for the two characters which made their story more intense (they didn't have to get to know each other inside the bedroom or outside of it) and it really just made me want to bang their heads together at some points because they didn't seem to realise what they felt about each other!

Family has been an important theme throughout the series, and The Billionaire's Secret Wife was no exception. The family elements mainly comprised of protective older brothers, but I thought it added to both Iain and Mark's already established characters, though still not too sure what to make of Dane. There was also Vanessa's relationship with her mother, Ceinlys. I haven't been too sure what to make of her up until now but seeing her interact and support her daughter really warmed her to me.

There was also a big reveal in The Billionaire's Secret Wife which took me by surprise as well as several of the characters. Though I also felt great relief knowing that a lot of the characters decided they didn't care much about what waws revealed. Though I am now intrigued as to where the reveal will lead!

Yet another great book from Nadia Lee, they never fail to be enjoyable!
