6 months ago, Roark and his brother James made a bet when drunk. That they would hire an etiquette coach and that she wouldn't be able to put up with Roark for a week. When etiquette coach Natasha, a Farfadet cursed to be human, turns up, both her and Roark are shocked to discover the strength of the attraction between them. Both believing that they have to hide who they truely are from the other, in case things take a bad turn...

Call of the Untamed, and in fact the whole series, Call of the Lycan, is slightly more erotic in nature that some of Michelle M Pillow's other books (though none are lacking in sex!) which means that the heat level in this book is pretty high! I liked the fact that Roark wasn't actually afraid of having a woman who knew what she liked. He was an alpha male after all and so often they don't like giving up anything.

I really liked the way that the Farfadets were introduced. At first I was clueless as to what a Farfadet was (and thankfully I can speak French or I probably still wouldn't, Google only came up with French articles!) but Pillow included information into the story that was both interesting and informative. It didn't feel out of place and added to who Natasha was.

There were parts of Call of the Untamed that had me laughing aloud. Not just because of the banter between Natasha and Roark, and then Roark and his brother, James. But there were times when the characters (normally Natasha) thought things that also made me giggle a bit.

This was a quick read, with an intense heat level!
