Jaded Stuntman Jake Braden had his heart broken when Fiona Steele broke up with him before college. Now living the bachelor's dream, something just isn't quite right for him, particularly when he sees his siblings settling down. Fiona has known almost since the moment she did it that breaking up with Jake was a mistake, more than a decade later she is determined to make Jake see that she still loves him, and that he still loves her...

Of all the Braden siblings, Jake seemed on the surface to be the least likely to have had the love of his life break his heart early on. Since he was first introduced, Jake has been the jaded brother, the one that refused to have anything to do with love. It was therefore great seeing another side to him and was a great ending to this family's stories!

I especially liked seeing the more vulnerable side to Jake. Right from the beginning of Crashing into Love it was clear that he had been really affected by Fiona, but also that his siblings' becoming attached actually made him kind of broody and making him want to settle down.

I also really liked the fact that in this case it was Fiona that broke Jake's heart, not the other way around. So often in books it seems that it is the man that has to be given the second chance, when in reality it could be either party. I thought that it made Jake and Fiona's relationship seem more real, as well as giving it a different feel to the other Braden's story.

Once again Melissa Foster has provided a story filled with love, passion and great characters! I'm sad to see the Bradens go, but excited for what else she may have in store!

Only one woman could hurt ultra-alpha bad boy Jake Braden.
Only one woman can heal him.
Fiona Steele has arrived…
Fiona Steele has a great career, strong friendships, and a loving family. To an outsider, her life appears happy and fulfilling. But the one thing that’s missing is true love, and the only man Fiona wants is the one she can’t have, sinfully handsome and seductively intense Jake Braden—the man whose heart she broke, which she has regretted ever since.
As an LA stuntman, Jake Braden’s at the top of his game. He’s hired for all the best movies, hooks up with the hottest women, and lives an unencumbered lifestyle where his needs come first—and where he doesn’t have to examine his life too closely. Except when he visits his family in his close-knit hometown of Trusty, Colorado, where he spends his time avoiding Fiona—the only woman who knows who he really is.
When Fiona’s best friend is hired to act in Jake’s movie, Fiona jumps at the chance to try to win him back. There’s no denying the white-hot attraction burning between them. With every encounter, Fiona hopes Jake can’t resist falling back into the love they once shared. But her well-orchestrated rendezvous doesn’t go over well with the brooding heartthrob. Living in the fast lane is perfect for a guy who’s buried his emotions so damn deep he’s not sure he can remember how to feel—and he’s not sure he ever wants to.
