Lance has dreamt about his green eyed Goddess for 20 years, and has almost given up any hope of finding her, not that that has stopped him from being the biggest playboy flying with the airline. That is until he meets Lisa, who is the complete opposite, in fact she has never been with a guy. Despite some rocky starts the pair can't deny the passion sizzling between them, and once their relationship starts, Lance can not get enough of her. But Lisa is scared of the consequences if she admits how she feels about him, and keeps her cards close to her chest.
What an ending! That was dramatic as anything and just made me desperately want to read the next book! (Which isn't out yet I might add!) In fact I think that the ending made the whole book for me, though there were some other dramatic parts.
I liked Lisa as a character, she seemed to be a strong woman, particularly regarding the incident with Wayne. She had one major character flaw though, and that was the fact that she seemed to think that sex solves everything. Well and that she wouldn't admit that she was in love, but that just added to the drama, particularly the drama of the ending.
I really liked the way that the point of view shifted between Lance and Lisa, you never really got repeat events but it was interesting, and really added to the story, to see both of their inner thoughts and feelings. I'm going to be looking out for the next book, I'm hoping it will be good!
The Flyboy Trilogy
Print Length: 213 pages
Bold, arrogant, and gorgeous are three words which describe the playboy of International Air, Captain Lance Miller. Unbeknownst, to everyone touching Lance’s life, is the fact Lance harbors a secret, a secret which continues to affect his relationship with all women. Love and trust do not exist in Lance’s world, only lust, sex, dominance, and an occasional busty blond.
Naïve, new hire, Flight Attendant, Lisa Price recently graduated from college and is desperately searching for her destiny, a destiny which at this time does not include a man, especially a pilot. Lisa is driven to succeed in all areas of her life, but she too has a secret. A secret she must choose to be embarrassed by or to honorably embrace.
Is it possible these polar opposites will find passion and trust in each other’s arms, enabling them to relinquish control and share their secrets, or is their attraction far too turbulent to pursue?
