Blog Tour & Giveaway: Reunited in Love by Nadia Lee

I received a copy of Reunited in Love in exchange for my review.

Alex and Natalie's (from Vengeful in Love) best friends, Kerri and Ethan, had a one night stand seven years ago, which was so full of passion and chemistry that neither of them have ever forgotten it. Now face to face again, Ethan suggests that not only does Kerri work for him, but that they should have an exclusive relationship that ends when one of them finds someone they would rather be with. At first first everything goes smoothly, until Kerri's family past comes back to haunt her, and Ethan has to push to get to the bottom of it, and to show her that he will stand by her no matter what.

Carrying on more or less from the end of Vengeful in Love, I was actually really pleased to find that Natalie and Alex, who are now married, played a part in this book too. In so many romance books, the second in the series just seems to abandon characters from the first, and that this wasn't the case in this book was great! Particularly since Alex and Natalie weren't side lined (they weren't the focus wither but it worked!)

In this case both of the characters had been introduced (not to each other) in the first book, and it was good to see secondary characters being developed upon. In their relationship they did have to deal with some issues, both business problems and family ones. Though this was similar to what Alex and Natalie faced in the first book, I didn't feel as if Reunited in Love was just a repeat of the first book's plot. If that makes any sense! The two books have their similarities, but they are both completely different stories too!

As I mentioned in my review of Vengeful in Love, there were business elements to the plot, and I really liked reading those, it added something different in my opinion! I'm also really excited to see what the rest of the Hearts on the Line series has to offer!

reunited_in_love Reunited in Love Hearts on the Line, Book 2 Publication Date: January 9, 2014 A temporary reunion... Newly jobless and adrift, former investment banker Kerri Wilson travels to Virginia to see her best friend and regroup, only to run into billionaire playboy Ethan Lloyd. It's been years since she's snuck out of his bed after the most amazing sex of her life, and he's so not her type -- she likes them tall, dark and manageable. But he's too hot to resist, and she succumbs to another sizzling, no-strings-attached (or so she thinks) night.
Unwilling to let her go this time, Ethan makes a simple proposition: a job, a place to stay, and an exclusive affair that will end when either of them finds someone else. But with her dark, painful past catching up to her, Kerri may have to bolt again -- even though her heart is telling her to stay. And Ethan's not giving her up without fighting to make their "temporary" arrangement something far more permanent...
